Working Gundog Portraits – The Photographic Service Dedicated To Individual Handlers And Their Dogs
Celebrating the unique relationship that exists between individual or teams of gundogs and their handlers. I will join you in the field for some working gundog portraits, whether it be on a shoot day or Gundog Trials.
What better way to capture the true character and spirit of a gundog, and that special bond between dog and handler, than in the Field. A working dogs natural habitat, mud, water and bracken, is where they are most comfortable and where they are most animated. I have always captured the best images of working dogs this way, which is why I am now extending a dedicated service to individual handlers.

Your Individual Working Portrait Session
Individual and dedicated photography of you and your dog (or team of dogs), on a shoot day* or a working dog trial day. A maximum of 3-4 hours will be spent with you. For a shoot day, the morning drives will give the best light, but for a Working Dog Trial, the afternoon may be preferred if rosettes are expected!
(A unique session, away from the two examples given, can be arranged for you specifically if preferred.)
Each session includes:
- A Compact Folio containing selected images from the session, as a permanent and lasting record.
- A disc full of all the images** from the session.
- On online viewing gallery.
(* subject to permission from the shoot organiser.) (** high resolution, but not full size jpeg files)
Further products are then available at any time afterwards – mounted prints, framed prints and canvases, book upgrades etc
